Spring Projects for your Yard and Patio

Hey Reader,

I hope you are having a great week! All is well over hear. We poured concrete for a new basketball hoop we are getting our little guy who turns 4 this weekend. It will be a fun surprise!

Mother's Day is also this weekend and it will be great to celebrate both. What do you have in store for the weekend? Did you make your mother or spouse something cool?

As spring is now here, I thought I'd send over a few different projects that have made a big difference either out in the yard or on the patio. Here they are!

A few spring projects for your yard or patio

DIY drip irrigation for your trees and plants

This project was honestly so cheap to do and a total game changer to keep our trees watered all summer long and growing quickly.

Install a mini-split to stay COOL!

Our older split level 1970's home and my backyard office both didn't come with air conditioning. These mini splits are a game changer for backyard offices, sheds, shops, and renovations where it isn't easy to add A/C.

Septic Riser

I used to dread digging up the septic tank when we'd need to check it or get it serviced. Putting in a riser has been a game changer.

Kid's Patio Furniture

Our kiddos absolutely love getting to have there own chairs out on the deck. It is a perfect project to build your kiddos. Calling all parents, uncles, aunts, and grandparents... You can build this quick!

Send internet to your garage, shop, or wherever

Sending internet from your home to anywhere else on your property doesn't have to be hard. This setup helps beam internet to the shop all for a couple hundred bucks and an afternoon.

Shout out to all the Mom's Out there!

This quick video is our first attempt at acting :) We've worked with Cub Cadet on numerous occasions and decided to try out something different. Let me know what ya think!

Well, hopefully the couple ideas get your brain turning and give you a few ideas for spring projects if you need any. Let me know if you have any questions on them.

Cheers from Montana,

Pete

Hey Reader, It’s been a while. I haven’t sent a DIY project email in quite a while, but I wanted to reach back out and reconnect. What have you been building lately? I’d love to hear! If you’ve finished a project, hit reply and send me a photo. And if you’re stuck on something, I’m always happy to help point you in the right direction. Over in Montana, we just wrapped up a fun project for the kids... A simple 6x6 playhouse. But the real idea behind it is this: If you can build this… you can...
